Tragedy in North Dakota
Reports confirmed. Three missing softball players from Dickinson State University died after they drove into a pond in North Dakota and were unable to escape the vehicle. Any tragedy that affects anyone in the baseball/softball community affects us all. Our hearts go out to the families of Afton Williamson, 20, and Kyrstin Gemar, 22, both of California, and Ashley Neufeld, 21, of Brandon, Manitoba.

Clearly this may have far-reaching implications for bat makers and the game of baseball. We want to know what you think.

Georgia Rules!
Dan Donovan in Georgia needs your help. As with many of our best surveys this came from a real situation with a real youth league. Essentially the question is this... Should there be a rule requiring the removal of a pitcher who hits multiple batters in a single game? The incident which triggered the question was a young pitcher who was left on the mound by his own coach after he had already hit 5 batters in a game. How do you handle this in your league? What rule should Dan have for his league? Let us know what you think...

What's next?
Right now we're working on some exciting new directions for training ...based on new understandings about how the brain gathers and processes information, how we model events, and how we react in pressure situations. It sounds involved, but it's going to apply to even the youngest ages. We're also working on a new lesson series on how to be a successful coach. While we're working on these projects, we hope you'll continue to support WebBall through memberships and product purchases. New pages will show under COMMUNITY > What's new
