One of the top pitching coaches in baseball
When this series was produced, Fred Corral was with the Volunteers and had helped establish Tennessee pitchers as one of the top staffs in the pitching-rich Southeastern Conference. In 2006, Coach Corral begins his second year as the pitching coach of the Oklahoma Sooners. During his first year on the staff, Corral guided three Sooner hurlers into the 2005 MLB Amateur Draft and helped OU make its second consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Corral’s total number of drafted players has risen to 31 in his 13-year coaching career. In 2007 he returned to the Volunteers after this series was in production.
Corral is respected as one of the top young pitching coaches in the game. WebBall likes his focus on details, his understanding of the new methods taught by the gurus, and his ability to keep his instruction clear and specific. While the individual videos are good, we believe his approach is best when you have all 3 to work with - so we've bundled them at a special price.

Balanced Approach to Pitching Mechanics
First of the 3 videos. Fred Corral breaks down the mechanical sequence of pitching into five areas of focus referred to as balance phases. Each phase is identified, discussed, and illustrated. He uses insights from the latest pitching gurus as well as techniques that have worked for his players. (2008) Running time: 44 minutes.
Common Faults and Corrections in Pitching

Among the topics covered: command faults, direction lines, stride faults, balance phase #3 faults, imbalance in approach—posture, upper-body aggressiveness faults, release to follow-through faults, balance phase #5 faults, and lower-half faults.
